Not sure where to post this other then here since it deals with Factions. Last night’s chat log with Gaile Gray she said that Factions Armor is only available in Factions. And last night Observing GvG matches and HoH I noticed that a few warrior’s who had on Factions Armor, and in the GvG the team had Factions Characters & Armor, warrior, monk, Necro, and Mesmer, while the other team had only Prophecies Armor. A few Guildmates tried to get the Factions Armor for their characters and could not do it. Is this a bug, glitch, or other? Should it continue to be allowed?

you can still use pvp characters wearing factions armor that where made during the fpe (except ritulists and assasins)

Yesterday in randoms i saw a A/W running around using sword skills.. WTF fix please.

Factions Characters & Armor are Factions Only
Factions is not out yet, and won’t be till the April 28th.
Unlocks including Factions Armor, runes, and skills from both FPvP and FPA have been locked out till April 28th. And will only be available to Factions only, not Prophecies. So even if they are there if you don’t have the Factions CD-key you will never see Factions Items in Prophecies

The warrior in the picture is a Factions PvP Character. Is it April 28th yet?.

As it stands I see this as unbalanced items for two reasons Factions isn’t out yet, and there is no Prophecies Armor yet to match Factions Armor. Anything Factions needs to be locked out till April 27th.

it’s an exploit and it’s being abused by top GvG guilds.

It's absolutely not an exploit. Pure-PvE characters made during the Factions preview event can still be used, and if they were equipped with Factions armor they still have it. I have a warrior who still has Sentinel armor, eventhough he can't use his Assassin skills.

It may be UNFAIR to people who deleted their Factions characters, but it's not a game bug that is being exploited.

WTF are you talking about? You can't use level 20 Factions PvE characters, can you?

Where is your Warrior, pre-searing?!?

I assume you meant PvP - well, let's use this test: Can anyone else make a Warrior with Sentinel armor now? If you wanted, could you make another one?

No. It's an exploit... or were we all supposed to make W/x with Beserker armor before the event ended...

The very fact that the Assassin skills can't be used should tell you "hmmm, maybe I shouldn't be able to do this..."

Sentinel armor and all Factions Armor for that matter will not and never be made or given to PvP or PvE in Prophecies only.You must have Factions to obtain Factions Items this includes Factions Armor. If Factions only Runes and Skills weapons are locked out because they are Factions only items the same needs to done for armor.

Other wise this is a bug in which people are exploiting for 2 main reasons.

Factions is not out yet.
No one can make a PvP Character now and use Factions Armor.

Yes, if you had a PvP Character wear Factions Armor during the preview - than they still have that Armor on and it still works and everything.

It'll be fixed probably.

Or maybe it's a perk to those who participated in the FPE...

An exploit really needs to be advantageous to be labeled an exploit, and unless they are actually hurting something I don't see the problem.

NOTE: I do not have a character in this situation. My FPE Assasain sleeps, and dreams her dreams for the next month.

No way is it a perk, since everything went back to being locked.

Because people are taking advantage of a bug in which the system allows then to play with items that should have been locked out since the FPE is over. Secondly they are items that are meant for Factions only, thirdly it’s not April 28th yet.

It is hurting something because no one else can make nor use that armor also, and it’s giving teams an unfair advantage over the other team.

Allow me to post the Factions Only armor,

Now compare Prophecies Armor.

You can still use the Factions armor on Tyrian characters for PvP for sure. My guildie made sure heh ad his Legionaires when Factions ended.

Seriously, calm down, if anything its a showcase what Factions has.

After the first preview event, I could still use a E/A I made with zealot daggers.

I haven't seen any guilds with the foresight to put it towards exploit - only a bunch of idiots with PvP-inneffective sentinels armour running around thinking themselves 1337. A lot of them aren't better, anyway. I guess I'll pay more attention in observer mode, but I doubt it's giving anyone a huge edge with how often a top guild member must reroll.

i guess they are showcasing the stuff that *most* players that have prophesies actually want and recognise..someithng that is visual....
they all know theres pvp armour out there for factions, so allowing *or turning a blind eye for a month* to pvp only chars still having the factions prieveiw armours on is like a free advertising bonus to them...

sure, the skills are locked, but skills arent actually visible to others that are pvp'in like the armours are....are they *that* much better than the tyrian versions that it makes a real difference in a pvp match?

i guess its like letting them show adverts for the new colors a console or car will be comming in..a way to suck folks into buying factions...

'oh? its my Factions stuff.....i was at the preview and they let us keep the stuff on pvp only chars...if you want a set, you will have to buy Factions when it comes out.'

IMO, I think the +HP armor is a pretty big bonus. I don't know, since I don't have any!

Does anyone out there with +HP armor think it gives them an advantage?
